2009 Governor's Outstanding Volunteer Award for Education

Floss Brady
Congratulations to Floss Brady, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 28 member, for winning the 2009 Governor's Outstanding Volunteer Award for Education.
This award will be presented to Floss on October 29, 2009 at a dinner honoring all the award winners at Dover Downs.
The Governor's office on volunteerism sponsors the awards to recognize the efforts of Delawareans who best exemplify the spirit of volunteerism throughout the state.
Floss, the past Education Chairman at Unit 28 for the last 10 years, has done an outstanding job of providing educational opportunities to children, their families and the schools in the Millsboro and surrounding communities.
Her "Veterans in the Classroom" program was recently highlighted at the American Legion Auxiliary National Convention held in Louisville, Kentucky.
Those wishing to support Floss at the dinner may contact the office at 947-1673, ext. 14 or visit this site for additional information as it becomes available.
